There are buses running from both The Greyhound and The New Union - get there early for this service!

From Huddersfield Bus Station you can catch the 394 and 395 buses up to the picnic site ( on the hour and 15 minutes past the hour ). Local Huddersfield Taxis can take you there as well call 01484 434966 or 01484 300222.

Q. How much is it?

The Pink Picnic in Huddersfield is the largest free Pride festival in Yorkshire, but to keep the festival this way we need donations so please put your hand in your pocket as you enter the gates, thanks! Wristbands and Keyfobs are also available at the gates for £3.00 each.

Q. What should I bring with me?

Please make sure you check the weather forecast to plan your day and your bag. Make sure you bring plenty of water, either high factor sun block or a rain mac are a must and leave your valuables at home.

Q. Are dogs allowed on Pink Picnic?

Yes.

Q. Is glass allowed on the Pink Picnic?

No.

Q. Will there be seating?

Yes, but only limited seating at the bars - please bring your own seating arrangements if you want to sit on the grass!

The closest cash point is in Huddersfield Town Centre.

Yes, follow the sign posts.

There are buses on the hour from the bus station and there are special Pink Picnic bus’s from the Greyhound Hotel & the New Union to the Pink Picnic which run throughout the day. Ask at bars for details.

The Pink Picnic could not happen without the support and dedication of our volunteers, if you would like to help please have a look at the volunteer’s page.

Q. If I only do one thing at the picnic what should it be?

Help keep The Pink Picnic as part of our community, and donate by dropping some change into one of the buckets recommended donation £2 at the gate please!

Q. Where should I go after the Pink Picnic?

We recommend you head into Huddersfield, and visit either the Greyhound or the New Union both gay venues which will both be holding Pink Party's see the bars for details. If these don't interest you, Manchester and Leeds are both a short train journey away.
